The TweedAstroS were out in force to view the Solar Eclipse on 20th March 2015. A group of enthusiast were out at Whitestone Park in Peebles where members of the public came along to share in the event with the amateur astronomers. The view was very brief because of thick cloud, but there was a 30 second window where it could be seen at its maximum.
Members who went along to the Lindean mast near Selkirk had much better luck with the viewing. Thanks to everyone who turned out and for the photos supplied by TweedAstroS members from wherever they were viewing the event!
